Scottish Rite Masons and Eastern Star members convene in the Gate City

Scottish Rite Masonic brothers and Eastern Star sisters attend the North Carolina 77th State Session.

The 77th annual North Carolina State Session of the King Solomon Grand Council of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Masons (AASRM) and St. Mary’s Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star held their state meeting at the Embassy Suites in Greensboro, June 24 to 26.

The organizations are under the leadership of the Illustrious Willie Jiles 33rd, Grand Deputy Inspector General (GDIG) and Sister Penny Latta, Grand Worthy Matron (GWM). Guest speaker during the banquet was Dr. Mitch Mitchell with the Winston Salem State University Food Bank, St. Mary’s Grand Chapter charity.

Approximately 55 members attended the state session along with members from Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New York and South Carolina.
