Over three days, the Guilford Native American Association presented its 47th Annual Pow Wow (Sept. 20- 22) with thousands of people mingling among diverse vendors selling Native American apparel, art, food and crafts. Attendees were able to watch ceremonial presentations in a friendly teaching-learning atmosphere.
Ablaze in traditional attire of bold colors and subtle hues of nature, hundreds of native Americans gathered to honor their indigenous heritage at the annual Pow Wow. A gathering of tribes assembled in Greensboro’s Country Park to convey and receive the spirit of life in music, dance, drumming, art, food and festive interaction in a cohesive celebration.
