The 2025 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships regional selections were announced on Monday, March 24, by the NCAA with No. 6 California, No. 13 Stanford, No. 19 N.C. State, No. 22 North Carolina and No. 27 Clemson as part of the 36-team field.
During the ACC Gymnastics Championships held in Greensboro last weekend, Stanford recorded a 197.775 to claim the ACC Championship title, with Cal finishing second at 197.650.
Ashley Knight, a Greensboro native and N.C. State sophomore, competed for the Wolfpack. Knight is a graduate of Southern Guilford High School. The 19th-ranked N.C. State gymnastics team posted a score of 196.500 to secure a fourth-place finish at the ACC Gymnastics Championship Saturday evening and head to the NCAA Regionals competition in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Knight anchored the vault lineup with a 9.900, leading the Pack in the event and earning a spot on the All-ACC Championship Team. N.C. State’s Meg Adler led off with a 9.825, while teammate Krista Zultevicz rounded out the top three with a 9.800.
Clemson, California, North Carolina and N.C. State will all head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the Alabama Regional. The Tigers are the lone ACC team competing in the first round as they take on Rutgers. In the second round, No. 6 seed California and North Carolina will compete in a quad meet against No. 11 Alabama and Iowa, while N.C. State will go up against No. 3 Florida, No. 14 Oregon State and the winner of Clemson versus Rutgers. The Tuscaloosa Regional begins on Thursday, April 3, with the regional final set for Sunday, April 6.
The 2025 NCAA National Championship will take place from April 17-19 at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
