The N.C. A&T Homecoming Parade is hosted by the N.C. A&T Student Center.
It will feature an estimated 100 participants, including 10 marching bands, five drumlines, the Blue & Gold Marching Machine (BGMM), along with parade floats sponsored by A&T organizations such as the Student Government Association (SGA), the Council of Presidents (COP), the Greek Council, Residence Hall Association (RHA), sororities and fraternities.
Miss A&T, Mr. A&T will be there. Dance troupes will put their best foot forward to wow parade revelers. local businesses will also participate, and political candidates will be there vying for your precious vote.
The parade grand marshals are John R. Hairston ’75 and his wife, Kathy R. Hairston ’75. A&T’s College of Health and Human Sciences bears their name.
What: N.C. A&T Homecoming Parade
When: Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 a.m.
Where: The parade will start at the intersection of Lindsay and Morrow Street, moving towards N.C. A&T’s campus along Lindsay Street. It will then turn right onto Laurel Street, where it will come to an end.
Cost: Free and open to the general public.
