In celebration of International Women’s Day, Greensboro area women gathered at LeBauer Park on Saturday, March 8. Nearly three dozen women, some with children, congregated in small groups to share insights and make new friends.
“This is a casual meetup to connect with like-minded ladies and allies over coffee,” said participant Dr. Zitty Nxumalo. Around the nation and world, women met to share achievements, raise awareness of women’s equality, lobby for accelerated gender parity, and call for positive change to advance women in all aspects of community, civil and commercial life.
