It was a joyous gathering of friends, supporters, members and staff of Hayes Taylor YMCA as the Y held its 58 annual Awards and Recognition Banquet at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro. Judge Paul L. Jones, with the Y’s Board of Management and Spencer McCall welcomed banquet attendees with Justin Lundy of Fox 8 News serving as Master of Ceremonies.

Guilford County Commissioner Frankie T. Jones Jr. provided the keynote address for the evening. Jones discussed the history and the importance of the YMCA and the impact it has had on his life. As a youngster, Jones and his brother participated in Y activities with the Danville, Va. YMCA.
