A&T’s Winter Wishes

Posted

Gifts galore were collected to brighten the hearts and souls of 200 Guilford County children in foster care during Winter Wishes, an annual celebration of giving by the generous faculty and staff of North Carolina Agricultural and State University.

For the seventh year, a joyous microcosm of elves in Aggieland consisting of scores of professors, administrators and other university employees delivered and packed hundreds of gifts. The Unified Transitional Choir of A&T employees sang holiday songs as gifts filled N.C. A&T’s Alumni-Foundation Event Center.

Each child will receive as many as three gifts – ranging from toys, games and electronics to sporting goods and bicycles, musical instruments to art supplies, clothing, shoes, books and gift cards – on their holiday wish list, which A&T employees and students pledged to provide.  One hundred percent of this year’s wishes have been fulfilled.
