Page rolls Northern

The Page Pirates won a 52-14 home non-conference game against Northern Guilford last Friday night.

Page led 21-7 late in the second quarter before the Nighthawks marched 80-yards in nine plays, capped off by a 13-yards run by Max Maynard cutting the score to 21-14. That’s as close as Northern (0-1) would get the rest of the game. Junior running back Javon Leake had 11 carries for 109-yards and two touchdown before being injured in the second quarter His second touchdown capped a five play, 80-yard drive with a four-yard run for the Pirates.

Page dominated the second half scoring 31 unanswered points improving their record to 2-0.
